From today, Swami Avimukteshwaranand has started the Mahayatra from Varanasi to Lucknow for cow protection. This yatra has been organized in the name of cow protection war. Swami Avimukteshwaranand has emphasized on the safety and protection of mother cow through this yatra. His journey will continue till the public meeting to be held in Lucknow on March 11.

The yatra will start today at 8:30 am from Shri Vidya Math in Varanasi. Swami Avimukteshwarananda will visit Chintaharan Ganesh temple. After darshan, he will reach Sankatmochan Hanuman Temple in the next phase of the journey. There will be recitation of Hanuman Chalisa and Bajrang Baan in Sankatmochan temple, after which Swami Avimukteshwaranand will start the journey.

On the first day of the yatra, Swami Avimukteshwarananda will address meetings in Jaunpur and Sultanpur and meet devotees. After this he will stay in Rae Bareli tonight. The next day i.e. on March 8, the yatra will leave from Rae Bareli for Unnao, where Swami will stay for one night.

The third day of the yatra will be spent in Hardoi on March 9. In Hardoi too, Swami will meet with the local people to discuss the importance of cow conservation and make people aware. After this, the Yatra will reach Sitapur on March 10, where Swami will also meet the devotees at Naimish Tirtha.

The last and most important day of the yatra is on 11 March, when Swami Avamukteshwarananda Lucknow K will address a big public meeting at Kashi Ram Smriti Upvan at 1 pm. Through this meeting, he will appeal to the countrymen to recognize mother cow as the mother of the nation and create widespread public awareness for its protection.
