TVK chief and actor Vijay accused of infidelity: Wife Sangeeta files divorce petition after 25 years

Sangeeta Sornalingam, wife of famous South actor and Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) chief Thalapathy Vijay, has filed a petition in the family court for divorce after 25 years of married life. In the petition filed on their behalf, it has been alleged that Vijay had relations with officials and persons, due to which their marital life has been badly affected. This matter immediately came into limelight in the celebrity circle. According to India Today report, Sangeeta has filed a petition in the Chennagapattu Family Court saying that Vijay has a serious allegation of infidelity, and that is why she no longer wants to live together. Earlier, the couple was often seen together in front of the media, but now with Sangeeta demanding divorce, discussions have started on both the fronts of Tamil cinema and politics. The court has described this petition filed against Vijay as a developing case and the arguments of both the parties will be heard during the further hearing.
