Rouse Avenue Court has given a big decision in the case related to Delhi’s much talked about liquor policy. The court has acquitted former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia of the charges. Both have got clean cheat from the court.

The court clearly said that merely making claims will not suffice. The court can believe any allegation only when it is accompanied by solid and sufficient evidence. The court said that the evidence presented by the investigating agency is weak and inadequate.

First of all, the court acquitted Kuldeep Singh, who was the commissioner in the Excise Department. After this Manish Sisodia was given relief and then Arvind Kejriwal Was also ordered to be acquitted.

It became clear from the court’s comments that there were many flaws in the charge sheet filed. The court said that there are many points on which satisfactory answers were not given. Relief was given on this basis.

However, the investigating agency says that it is not satisfied with this order and will challenge it in the High Court. CBI lawyers have indicated that after a detailed study of the order, an appeal will be filed in the higher court.

At present, there has been no immediate official response from Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia.

This matter is related to Delhi Excise Policy of 2022-23. On the same basis, CBI had registered a case and later ED also registered a case on money laundering charges. Many leaders of Aam Aadmi Party went to jail in this case. Many times bail petitions were rejected, but later bail was granted.

On Friday, Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court said that prima facie, a case is not made out against Arvind Kejriwal and Manish Sisodia on the basis of CBI charge sheet. The court has given relief by terming the charge sheet as weak.
