In the video, Afzal Ansari, CO City Shekhar Sengar and Sadar Kotwal Mahendra Singh are seen face to face. The SP MP alleges that while going to Disha’s meeting, his car was suddenly stopped, while the police officer seems to be denying this. Mohammedabad MLA nephew Shoaib Ansari and SP MLC Ashutosh Singha were also present with him.
In the video, the MP is heard saying that he was going to an official meeting, so why was his car stopped in the middle of the road. He told the police that if investigation has to be done then they should check the vehicle and note down the names and addresses of the people sitting in it, but it is wrong to stop them in a public place like this. At the same time, police officers are seen repeatedly saying that they did not stop the MP’s car.

During the altercation, Afzal Ansari is also seen saying to the police, “Come on, take us, where will we take you?” And raise questions whether the police wants to kidnap them. To this the policemen reply that there is no such intention. The MP said that people are continuously calling due to this kind of stoppage on the National Highway and it is turning the entire incident into a ‘farce’.
The SP MP said that he was an invited member of Disha’s meeting and public representatives and committee members were present with him. He alleged that the police asked to stop the vehicle without any apparent reason, which is a violation of the privilege of a public representative. Afzal Ansari told the police officers that this method is wrong and should be changed.
In the video, CO City is heard saying that as soon as he saw the MP and MLA’s car, he asked them to let them go. On this the MP retorted and asked why he was stopped when he had to let him go. He said that such action raises questions on the functioning of the administration.
