An attempt was made to rob a house in broad daylight in Ruwa village of Bardoli tehsil of Surat. Here a young man riding a scooter had entered the house posing as a courier boy. When the landlord protested and raised an alarm, nearby people came to the spot. Due to this the accused fled from the spot. This entire incident has been captured in CCTV camera. After receiving the complaint about the matter, the police has started searching for the accused.
In the footage captured in CCTV, it can be seen that a young man riding a scooter enters the village. After this he reaches outside the house of Sureshbhai Thakorbhai Patel living in Patel Faliya. He parks the scooter outside the house and moves ahead with a courier-like packet in his hand.

The accused robber enters Sureshbhai’s house and says that he has come to deliver a parcel. Even when Sureshbhai refused to accept the parcel, he forcibly reached the verandah of the house.

Sureshbhai refused him and started going back inside the house. During this time, the accused robber also entered the house behind them. As soon as he went inside, he showed a knife and started demanding money. During this the landlord Sureshbhai clashed with him. Showing courage, he pushed the robber hard and started making noise. Hearing the noise, people from the neighborhood immediately started gathering there. Fearing being caught, the accused robber fled from there on a scooter.
During the scuffle, the white handkerchief of the accused had fallen in the house itself, which has been seized by the police. Seeing the video, it is being estimated that the accused had come to the village with complete planning. Before the incident, he had done recce of the village by asking the way to reach Bharampore village. He entered the house during the afternoon calm and tried to rob. At present, the police is searching for the accused on the basis of CCTV footage and evidence.
