Teaser of Yash’s ‘Toxic’ released: Too many violent scenes, story not clear; There will be a clash with ‘Dhurandhar 2’, the first part of which had earned ₹ 1300 crores.
The teaser of the film Toxic was released on Friday. Yash is in the lead role in this film. Makers released the Hindi teaser at 9:35 am. The teaser starts with a scene. Yash enters and a glass of wine and a cigarette are seen in his hand. Many violent scenes and bloodshed are shown in the teaser. The story is not clearly visible in the teaser, whereas the teaser of the film has mostly action and dialogues, but it is not clearly understood what the real story of the film is. It is worth noting that this may disappoint many viewers, who were waiting for the teaser for many days. Let us tell you that the film will be released in theaters on March 19, 2026. Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Tara Sutaria and Rukmini Vasant will also be seen in it. The film is going to clash at the box office with Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar 2’. The first part of ‘Dhurandhar 2’ achieved huge success in 2025 and earned more than Rs 1300 crore worldwide. Therefore, it is not so easy for ‘Toxic’ to achieve success at the box office. On the other hand, as soon as the first teaser of ‘Toxic’ was released, discussions and controversies started. The women’s wing of the Aam Aadmi Party had filed a complaint with the Karnataka State Women’s Commission. It was alleged in the complaint that obscene and objectionable scenes were shown in the teaser. Taking cognizance of the complaint, the Women’s Commission took action. The Commission had written a letter to the Central Board of Film Certification i.e. CBFC demanding an investigation into the teaser and taking appropriate action.
