क्या ट्रंप अपनी जेब से देंगे 91000 करोड़ का फंड? ‘बोर्ड ऑफ पीस’ के लिए किया ऐलान लेकिन… – Gaza Board Of Peace Meeting Donald Trump US Funding United Nations NTC mnrd
US President Donald Trump has created a stir in political circles on Thursday by announcing to give 10 billion dollars to the “Board of Peace” established by himself. This amount is more than 12 times the $767 million that the United Nations will receive from the United States this year, but will Trump give this funding from his own pocket?
Addressing the board meeting, Trump said that this institution is “showing the way to create a better future.” He said, “America Will contribute 10 billion dollars i.e. Rs 91,045 crore to the Board of Peace. This is a very small amount compared to the cost of the war. “This is equivalent to the cost of just two weeks of fighting.”

However, it is not clear how the US government will provide this funding. “board of peace” has been established unilaterally by Trump and his administration. It has not received approval from either Congress or any other legislative body. Congress generally has the authority to allocate government funds.
Can Trump use government funds unilaterally?
Democratic Party senator Chris Murphy said it would be “completely illegal” for Trump to unilaterally give government funds to this board. He indicated that if such a step is taken, it could be challenged in court.
The Trump administration has also set a condition that the countries that want to become permanent members of this board will have to contribute $1 billion. According to Trump, so far 10 countries Gaza 7 billion dollars have been given for the relief package, which also includes Saudi Arabia, Qatar and UAE.
United Nations also owes America
On the other hand, UN officials say that America has not only not paid its regular budget in full, but the promises made for programs like peacekeeping missions are also incomplete. Overall, America is said to owe the UN about $4 billion.
On Thursday, the US paid about $160 million of this dues, which is about 4 percent of the total liability and less than 2 percent of the $10 billion announced by Trump. The UN had warned last year that the organization could face financial crisis if member countries, especially the US, do not repay their liabilities.
Interestingly, Trump said in the same speech that he wanted to make the UN “strong” and “viable”, but the huge funding given to his new board has raised questions about whether this move will weaken the global organization or is an attempt to create a parallel power centre.
