‘365 days changed Delhi’: CM Rekha Gupta releases one-year report card | India News
New Delhi: Chief Minister of Delhi Rekha Gupta released her government’s one-year report card on Wednesday, highlighting achievements in various fields as the BJP-led administration completed its first year in office.Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said, “These 365 days have changed the course of Delhi, and the next 4 years will change the state of Delhi. It is our daily routine to take new decisions in the interest of the people of Delhi and do developmental work in Delhi. On completion of one year, I congratulate the people of Delhi.”Elaborating on her government’s performance, Rekha Gupta said, “Today’s report card reflects our year of hard work and transformational events. This government is not a government of promises, but a government of results. This government is not a government of declaration, but a government of action.”He added, “In one year, we have tried to take Delhi from stagnation to progress. We have tried to take it from excuses to solutions, from advertising to development. With every step we have taken, the government has focused on less paperwork and more work. I can say that the Delhi government today is not involved in poster politics, not in tweet politics. We have transformed the Delhi government, which does not use the previous government, which does not use the culture of solutions.“The Chief Minister further emphasized, “Today, as we complete one year, I can confidently say to the people of Delhi that we have worked on every front to bring about positive change in Delhi.”Talking about the education sector, Rekha Gupta said, “The previous government talked a lot about education, but people know the reality. They spent more money on publicity than infrastructure. Today, the government has taken a bold step to pass the Delhi School Education (Transparency in Fixation and Fee Control) Act, 2025, which we want to show how we can stop business from schools.” There are smart classrooms and digital libraries.“
