2 UK tourists get leave India order over Palestine stickers in Rajasthan | India News
AJMER: Rajasthan Police’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Monday issued “Leave India” notices to two British tourists after they posted pro-Palestinian and anti-Israel stickers in public areas in Pushkar. The stickers displayed messages such as “Free Palestine, Boycott Israel”.On January 21 local authorities reported the presence of stickers in various public spaces. In view of this, a CID team was deployed to investigate the matter. They concluded that affixing such stickers not only violates local sensitivities but also violates tourist visa rules.According to ASP (CID) Rajesh Meena, the two persons, identified as Luis Gabriel D (36) and Anushi Emma Christine (36), came to India on tourist visas.
