A 15 year old rivalry once again took a violent turn in Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh. This case pertains to Bariyawa village of Charwa police station area. According to the information, Ramanand of the village was going towards the fields. Meanwhile, Prem Kumar, Ajay Kumar and Shikaran alias Puneet from the same village surrounded him and attacked him. This sudden attack created chaos on the spot.
Hearing the noise, Ramanand’s family members also reached the spot. Within no time both the parties came face to face and the dispute took a violent turn. There were attacks from both sides with sticks and rods, in which many people were seriously injured. Prem Kumar, Ajay Kumar and Shikaran alias Puneet have been injured from one side in this clash. On the other hand, Shivmurat, Ramprakash, Surendra Kumar and Ramanand have suffered serious injuries. All the injured were first taken to Chail Community Health Center, where after first aid, when their condition became critical, they were referred to the district hospital.
15 year old rivalry took bloody form
35-year-old Shivkaran died during treatment in the district hospital. After this incident, there was chaos in the family of the deceased and an atmosphere of tension was created in the village also. As soon as information about the incident was received, Superintendent of Police Satyanarayan Prajapat reached District Hospital and met the family members and got information about the entire matter. The police have taken the body into their custody and sent it for post-mortem and have started further action.
Rakesh Kumar, the family member of the deceased, says that about 15 years ago there was a dispute between the two parties regarding the bund of the farm. Since then there was rivalry between the two families. They allege that a complaint had been made to the police earlier also, but no concrete action was taken on time, due to which this incident occurred.
Superintendent of Police Satyanarayan Prajapat said that this matter is related to old enmity. There was a fight between the two parties, in which one person died and many people were injured. He said that the matter is being investigated seriously and strict action will be taken against the culprits. In view of the tension in the village after the incident, police force has been deployed. Officials are keeping an eye on the situation so that no other untoward incident happens.
