Uttar Pradesh News: In Dhaulana police station area of Hapur district, a shopkeeper tortured a 7-year-old innocent child by locking him in a deep freezer. Accused Azad accused Imran’s minor son of stealing the goods and put them in the cold freezer installed in his denting painting shop. This incident took place on March 30, in which the child was kept inside the freezer for about 4 to 5 hours. As soon as the video of this cruelty went viral on social media, Dhaulana police showed promptness and arrested the accused Azad from his village Bajhera.
Innocent child kept suffering in freezer for hours
Imran, the father of the victim child, told that the accused shopkeeper not only locked his son in the freezer, but also threatened him with a knife and slitting his neck. The innocent child kept crying and wailing inside the freezer for hours due to cold and fear.
Due to this inhuman act the child has suffered serious physical and mental trauma. The father has demanded strictest punishment from the administration in this case so that such an incident does not happen again in future.
Police action as soon as the video went viral
According to Dhaulana police station in-charge Avnish Kumar, the police team reached the spot as soon as they took cognizance of the viral video on social media. Investigation revealed that accused Azad is originally a resident of Kapurpur district and runs a shop here. The police have caught the accused and started legal proceedings against him. Police say that anyone taking law into their hands will not be spared and justice will be ensured to the child.
