A family dispute took a violent turn on Monday night in Nawalpur village of Bijnor district in Uttar Pradesh, when a youth opened fire on his own brother-in-law. The brother-in-law was seriously injured due to the bullet, who was first taken to the district hospital, but when his condition became critical, the doctors referred him to a higher center. In view of the tension in the village after the incident, police force has been deployed.
The matter is of Nawalpur village of Kotwali city area. According to the information, 22 year old Vishal’s son Rajkumar, resident of the village, was watching mobile outside his house at around 8 pm. Meanwhile, his brother-in-law reached the spot and suddenly fired the pistol. The bullet hit Vishal on his right side, due to which he fell on the ground bleeding.
It is being told that the injured Vishal had got a court marriage done about eight months ago after having a love affair with village girl Anamika. There was already resentment in the family regarding this marriage. It is alleged that due to this rivalry, the brother-in-law committed this dreadful incident.
Hearing the sound of firing, nearby people reached the spot and immediately sent the injured to the hospital. As soon as the information was received, the police also reached the spot and inspected the spot. As a precautionary measure, additional police force has been deployed in the village, so that no untoward situation arises.
CO City Sangram Singh said that in Nawalpur village, information was received that a young man was shot and injured by his brother-in-law. The police took immediate action and took the injured to the hospital. He said that a case is being registered on the basis of the complaint and the matter is being thoroughly investigated. The police is carrying forward the investigation keeping all the aspects in mind.
