Uttar Pradesh News: Famous cow servant Chandrashekhar alias Farsa wale Baba died in a road accident amid dense fog on the morning of March 21 in Kosikalan police station area of ​​Mathura. The accident occurred when Baba, on suspicion, had stopped a container loaded with groceries and it was hit by an uncontrolled truck coming from behind. After this incident, angry supporters blocked NH-19 near Chhata town by placing the dead body. The mob launched a deadly attack on the police force and administrative officials who came to explain, pelting stones and firing. Police used mild force to control the situation and have so far arrested about two dozen miscreants.

Confusion spread by calling the accident a murder

Mathura District Magistrate Chandra Prakash clarified that Baba Ji’s death was a road accident, which has no connection with cow smuggling. The truck driver also died in the accident. Some mischievous elements spread rumors by giving it the appearance of murder and tried to disturb the peace. Baba ji had a big contribution in cow service, considering which the administration has assured to consider the demands like security of his cow shed and building a memorial.

Police attacks and arrests

According to SP Dehat Suresh Chandra Rawat, about 23 policemen have been injured in stone pelting and firing by the protesters and government vehicles have also been damaged. With the help of Gandiva Har Yaksha app and video footage, police have identified 23 named and hundreds of unidentified people. Daksh Choudhary of Ghaziabad is also included among the 15 accused arrested. Hollow cartridges, sticks and 15 motorcycles have been recovered from them.

Case registered under serious sections

Chhata police station has registered a case against the arrested accused under various sections of BNS, 7 CLA Act and Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act. Police teams are raiding in search of other absconding accused. The administration has made it clear that strict legal action will be taken against those who play with the peace. At present the situation in the area is under control and the police is also keeping a close watch on social media.
