The Pentagon has identified and released photographs of four of the six American soldiers killed in an Iranian drone attack on Sunday. The names of these soldiers include Captain Cody Khork (35), Sergeant First Class Noah Tietjens (42), Sergeant First Class Nicole Amor (39) and Sergeant Declan Cody (20). The four soldiers were assigned to the 103rd Sustainment Command, an Army Reserve Sustainment Unit in Iowa that provides food, fuel, water and ammunition, transport equipment and supplies.
Two more soldiers killed in Sunday’s attack have not been identified yet.
These US soldiers were killed on Sunday when a drone attacked a command center in Port Shuaiba, Kuwait.
“All of these men and women bravely volunteered to defend our country and their sacrifice will never be forgotten,” Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll said, according to the AP report.
President Donald Trump said of the deaths, “Sadly, there will be more deaths before this is over. That’s what happens.”
