Giving information on the social media platform ‘X’, Prime Minister Netanyahu wrote, ‘I have instructed the authorities to give full and immediate entry to the Latin Patriarch, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem.’

Netanyahu said, ‘Today, in view of Cardinal Pizzaballa’s safety, he was asked not to hold a prayer meeting in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Although I understand, as soon as I learned about the incident with Cardinal Pizzaballa, I instructed the authorities to allow the Patriarch to hold the Mass as per his wish.
