When the husband protested after finding out about the affair, the wife threatened to kill him by filling a blue drum with cement. Due to this panic the matter reached the police. During the counseling held in the Women’s Mediation Cell, the wife expressed her desire to live with her lover, after which Rajkumar handed her over to her lover.
Social media and fear of blue drum
Rajkumar had found some objectionable photos with his lover from his wife’s mobile. After this discord started in the house. The wife started continuously threatening to kill the prince and his brothers.
The threat of the ‘blue drum’ frightened the prince so much that he started worrying about his safety. The victim Rajkumar also has a child, but considering the danger to his life, he thought it better to step back from this relationship.
Final decision taken in mediation cell
The police had called the Women’s Mediation Cell for reconciliation between both the parties. The wife’s lover also reached there. After a long conversation between the three families, the wife made it clear that she wanted to spend her life with her lover only. The prince and his family agreed to this and sent the wife away with her lover. Rajkumar says that by doing this he has saved his life.
