He was the pillar of the family. We all always received his love, blessings and guidance. With his departure the family has lost a strong support. I pray to God to give peace to his soul and give us all the strength to bear this deep sorrow. His memories will always be with us.
So far, Rinku has played five matches in this tournament and scored 24 runs, where he played the role of a finisher. India’s next match is against West Indies in Kolkata. In such a situation, it is not clear whether Rinku will be available for the remaining matches of the tournament or not.
No official statement has come yet from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) or the team management.
