Later, they took her to a hotel and had forced sex with her and started blackmailing her by taking objectionable pictures and videos. The accused demanded Rs 40 lakh, on which Rs 12 lakh was also transferred.
After the deal was made for Rs 12 lakh, the victim transferred the money through RTGS. The accused again demanded more money and the matter reached the police. After this, the crime branch started action by arresting 3 accused including two women within a few hours. The arrested accused include Nilesh Jhunjha, Payal Patel and Tejal Tindani.
Actually, the 59 year old victim living in Botad retired in October 2025. He wanted to buy land with his lifetime capital and the amount received after retirement. He met a woman named Payal Patel. Payal and the retired teacher first met about a year ago during a school program in Botad.

Payal had said that the land was related to business. He won the teacher’s trust with sweet words. Payal called the teacher and told that Rajkot There is an agricultural land for sale nearby, if they want to see it they can come to Rajkot. The teacher agreed with the intention of purchasing the land.
Payal and the teacher met near Ujala Circle in Ahmedabad, from there they left for Rajkot in Payal’s car. As soon as they reached Rajkot, Payal took another woman from the Greenland Quartet with them and then they stayed in a hotel.

After reaching the hotel room, Payal created a drama and came out of the room saying that she was going to call the land owner-party. After Payal left, another woman present in the room suddenly started removing her clothes.
Meanwhile, another woman entered the room and started pressurizing the teacher to have sex. When the teacher protested, the women threatened that if he did not comply, he would be implicated in POCSO and rape cases. This gang had relations with the teacher and recorded objectionable pictures and videos.
The teacher started being blackmailed on the basis of the video. Fearing defamation, the accused initially demanded Rs 40,00,000. After much debate and pleading, a deal was struck for Rs 12,00,000.
Under pressure, the teacher transferred Rs 12,00,000 to Payal Patel’s account through RTGS. However, even after receiving such a huge amount, the gang’s greed did not subside and they kept threatening for more money.
The victim gathered courage and approached the police.
Fed up and gathering courage, the teacher took refuge in the police. ACP of Rajkot Crime Branch said that on the basis of technical surveillance and information from informers, the police have arrested Payal Patel, Nilesh Jhunjha and Tejal Tindani.
Police investigation has made shocking revelations that Payal Patel was arrested in the year 2025 in the honeytrap case in Ankleshwar. Cases of extortion and criminal conspiracy are also registered against Tejal Tindani in Rajkot. Another female accused involved in this gang, Anjali Solanki, is still absconding, investigation is going on for her arrest.
